Singapore, 20 July 2025 – Chester Tan celebrates 20 years in music publishing with a limited quantity compilation album. pian.o.log (blend of words “piano” the instrument and “analog” the medium) contains 10 most-streamed tracks composed between 2005 and 2019. This album is released exclusively in vinyl format at the elasticStage online shop and will not be available in CD or digital.

In 2005, I signed up as a member with the Composers and Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS), marking a milestone to publish my music works and producing CD albums for the mass market. Along the way, I picked up a few awards, and the most significant being the COMPASS Young Composer Of The Year in 2011, an award that can only be won once below 35 years of age. Then in 2015, I was bestowed by my alma mater, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with the Nanyang Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
pian.o.log is a compilation album produced specially to commemorate my 20-year music publishing journey. This will be a limited production memento in analog vinyl format for my fans and music collectors.

Chester Tan Bio
Chester is an award-winning Singapore composer who launched his first piano music CD album with Warner Music Singapore in 2005. The first album, “Piano Spa”, was immensely popular in Asia with sales over 10,000. This led Warner to launch six more albums.
The “Piano Spa” series led Chester to achieve a 4-consecutive year win (from 2011-2014) at the Singapore COMPASS Awards as Top Local Composer (Instrumental) and COMPASS Young Composer of the Year (2011). on 2015, he is awarded the Nanyang Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Chester’s music has hit 2.9 million streams on Spotify. His albums are also available on YouTube, TIDAL, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music, KKBox and more. His influences include Yukie Nishimura, Kevin Kern, Secret Garden, George Winston.
