After spending over a month exploring NFT and engaging in numerous projects, it’s time I gathered my inspiration and created a tangible work of art. So this morning, I spent a little over an hour to compose this new piano song. Then I find some old photos to create the cover art. And ran it through a video-editing app to create an animated music video. Finally, it is ready to be minted on the blockchain.

Presenting my first ever NFT composition, joining the ranks as one of the first few Singapore musicians like ShiGGa Shay and Tan Hanjin to launch Music NFTs!
As the title suggests, this piano composition is a prelude to a new dream of achieving success in the new NFT platform. The constant left-hand motif conveys a dreamy blurry imagery, while the bell is a soft chime of what’s about to come. The song stops abruptly, as the dreamer awakes, but for good reason. Now he can make his dreams come true.
I have created a few editions which you can click to listen as follows:
- Full Song Edition. There is only one copy available, and current priced at 0.01 ETH (about USD 30). It contains unlockable content which will be revealed to the owner, including (not limited to) MP3 song, MP4 video, JPG cover album.. Buy at OpenSea.
- Normal Song Edition. There are 25 copies available, and priced at 0.001 ETH (about USD 3). Buy at Mint Songs.
- Promo Edition. This is not for sale, and only given to selected partners and collaborators whom I’ve met over the past months. The NFT plays as 25-second preview, but owners will have access to the full video. Only 10 copies are minted. Click here for the NFT.
To purchase them, you need Wrapped ETH on Polygon (MATIC) Network. Although the platform allows you to buy with credit card, the gas fees are even higher than the price of the NFT itself, unless you already have WETH. So, if you are already familiar with NFTs, please consider supporting me. The price is about the same as buying the digital single.
Anyway, this first music NFT is not for profit, but more to experience the process of minting and trading. Now I can claim to be one of the few Singapore musicians who have released a music NFT.
