Over a year ago when Aztech launched their Gen-1 Kyla smart devices, I had a great time reviewing a suite of their home automation products from switches to cameras and sensors. After sneak peaks at the second-generation Kyla for the past months, the product is finally launched in Singapore and available for purchase.

Most of the smart switches in the market require an additional neutral wire to carry current to the switch and power the wireless electronics. Not many old homes have neutral wires running around the house unless you bought a new home and knows you want to wire your house with smart switches. This is a major stumbling block for a lot of home owners but there are no shortage of alternative products to get around the challenge.
With Kyla Gen 2 smart light switches, there is no need for any major re-wiring. For homes without neutral wires, these are direct replacement to your existing switches and support LEDs 7W and above. A separate smart hub is required to connect the Kyla switches and other upcoming smart devices together.

Here are the retail prices:
- 1-Gang (KSWS-211-ZB): S$59.90
- 2-Gang (KSWS-212-ZB): S$65.90
- 3-Gang (KSWS-213-ZB): S$69.90
- Smart Hub (KHUB-210-ZB): S$88.90
With the release of the Kyla Smart Light Switches comes a pipeline of smart solutions, with each subsequent release looking to delight users and their families at home with greater automation, and a greater peace of mind.
