Klipsch is voted best earphones brand from 2014 to 2017 by HardwareZone.com HWZ Tech Awards Readers’ Choice. It also won best headphones brand this year for the first time, beating previous year’s 5-time winner Sennheiser. This is a testimony of Klipsch’s popularity in Singapore.
TC Acoustic is the official distributor of Klipsch in Singapore, and this week they sent one of the X-series earphones, with compliments (must declare, hence this shout-out in their favour). The current X-series is not exactly new, but unlike smartphones, audio headphones remain relevant for years.

X12i – World’s smallest and lightest in-ears
The Klipsch X12i in-ear headphone is the latest generation of the award-winning model that was originally launched in January 2010 as X10i and August 2013 as X11i. With a milled aluminum chassis less than 6mm in diameter and weighing a total of 15 grams, the X12i is one of the smallest and lightest headphones on the planet. Not only is the X12i unnoticeable when being worn due to its diminutive weight, it’s aluminium housing means it is extremely durable.
Klipsch X12i utilizes a single custom KG-926 balanced armature, achieving full range response and delivering dynamics. The patented oval ear-tips promises great comfort for long-term wear and an impressive acoustic seal for noise isolation.
With its comfort-angled nozzle and patented oval ear-tips, the X12i promises significant comfort for long-term wear and a perfect acoustic seal for superior noise isolation.
Full Review Soon
I will be writing a separate review in 2 weeks. Meanwhile, do check out the Klipsch X-series earphones in all major stores, including an elaborate corner at Challenger Bugis Flagship store. Discount promotion ends 15 August 2017, while free gifts are available while stocks last.

I got my Klipsch headphones from the same distributor. The one I got was the Klipsch R5, and it’s a great music partner whenever I jog along Marina Bay waterfront.
