ASUS Singapore recently offered me to keep the Zenfone 2 review unit and threw in some accessories, like the ASUS LolliFlash. Here’s a brief review of the Flip Cover Deluxe.
ASUS Zenfone 2 View Flip Cover Deluxe (ZE551ML)
This official ASUS cover costs an affordable S$39.90 and feels like leather with aluminium details around the window. With this cover, you can access 7 apps:
– Weather
– Camera
– Music Player
– Flashlight
– Quick Settings
– Clock
– Notification or Calendar Event
This cover also lets you access NFC function from the rear cover, while most third party covers do not.
I am not a fan of flip covers, but it does provide better protection to your Zenfone 2 and you can conveniently access 7 features. I do hope that ASUS can support additional apps (e.g. Whatsapp notification) either through ASUS software update or third party add-on widgets.
