A new pasta stall has just opened at the Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market. Pasta Festa is managed by Jack and June. Jack took apprenticeship with Mien, whose stall resides at Bukit Timah Food Centre.

Barely opened for a few days, they asked me to do food photography for their menu items.

The stall is at #02-01, and though it’s situated at a corner, it is easily spotted from outside the food centre with the huge red signboard. All the items in the menu are going for $3.90, and do not contain MSG. I tried the Aglio Olio, and it’s actually quite good. The taste is very rich and the bites are generous. If you are a pasta lover, I think Pasta Festa will make your taste buds (and your wallet) very happy.

  1. u mean this has close down…
    jus saw this post..

anyway do you know the opening hours of mien…it is always close when i go there.

  2. I'm surprised they closed down. First thing after touch down Singapore, went over wish to patronize them.
Their pasta really taste delicious. Cook with 'heart'. Lady boss with good customer service too.
Did asked other stalls as hopping they relocate somewhere else. However, they told me they left due to stall being sold off and new owner(China lady) wanting to increase their rent.
Hope someone can tell me where are they now.

  3. Miss their Seafood Aglio Olio. Despite long quene. It worth the waiting.
The young chef cook it authenticly. 1 frying pan, 1 plate a time. In less than two minute a serving is already.
Always make it a point to take orders and rush there before 12noon to avoid the crowd.

  4. Best fusion tried, agreed by my whole office. Laksa by Pasta Festa. Just $4.00 you get a taste of Orignal Singapore Laksa with al danta spaghetti, not forgetting the ingredients of well peeled prawns, cut squids and fish. Most amazing thing is that they can control the level of spicy for different customers. I always ask for the max 😛
