Since the last time I did a shoot with Caitanya in June 2006 at the backstage make-up room at the Esplanade before our musical presentation, she has always wanted to do a proper shoot.

2 weeks ago, we finally did it.

Even though she is totally inexperienced in modelling, her professional training in drama helped in getting the shots. As I was telling her, I’d rather work with an inexperienced person with great attitude than a pro with poor attitude.

And thanks to the “curse” of digital imaging, I have to touch up the photos, which took lots of time, about 3 photos per hour. It’s not the difficulty in removing the blemishes, but rather, the trials and errors in creating the desired effect. Learnt a few tricks from a book I bought from Amazon. It’s called Skin: The Complete Guide to Digitally Lighting, Photographing, and Retouching Faces and Bodies
