Ang Mo Kio Sunset

Very often we take for granted the things we have around us. This is one case.

Having lived in my estate for 7 years, it only occurred to me that I can get this kind of view by walking to a nearby HDB apartment and taking the lift to the highest floor and standing at the common corridor.

Of course, it would be magnificent if I were to stay at that block of flats, but I bet you these dwellers won’t be watching the sunset everyday because having lived there, they have taken for granted. I would if I were them. I mean, the thought process would be: I live here, so I can see it whenever I want, so what’s so special about sunsets?

For the rest of us, it’s a rare treat of the aerial view of housing estates decorated with nature’s beauty.

Enjoy.
